Thank you to QFC

I have told you before that I am into this coupon thingy for a few months now.  So far I am so glad by the deals that I was getting and to tell you honestly, it is so addicting.  But one thing I am trying so hard is to buy things that my family needs and not to stock up on things that we don't need.

The other day, as I was going through our mail, I found these envelope full of coupons from QFC!!!

Some of these coupons has free items on it.  I think this is the second time that I got this type of coupons from them.   I did not request any of it, I just got this from the mail.   I am a member of QFC rewards, but that just it.   I am glad they send me these coupons.   I could find great deals on the store with these coupons!!!!

Thanks QFC!

Who doesn't want savings?

I think everybody wants to save no matter how much money they have.  I know I am one of those people who wants savings on almost everything.    You can have these savings on so many ways :

1. Plan ahead of time before you go to the grocery or mall.
2.  Look for sale or current promotions
3.  Register on sites that you frequented (they usually gives points, coupons or discounts to members)
4.  Buy out of season stuff
5.  Most of all find COUPONS before you head out.

These are just the basic ideas on how you could save money.    On every purchase or occasions you wanted to save money.  This Valentines Day you wanted to give present to your special someone; a partner, spouse, mom, dad or anybody close to your heart.   For instance, I wanted to buy some camera accessories for my husband as a present, before I purchased that item I will look for coupons online and see how much discount or money I could save.  There are tons of printable or coupon codes online that you can use.  The Savings.com coupons
has printable coupons or code that you can enter if you prefer to do your shopping online.  They also have a lot of participating store like Old Navy, Flowers.com (for Valentines Day), Body Shop, Orbitz for your travel needs and a lot more.  Why don't you check it out and see for yourself.

You will be surprise how much money you save if you have 15, 20 or 30% off coupon on your total purchase.  Imagine if you have that kind of savings on every purchases you will have.  At the end of the year, you will be surprised how much money you save.   Coupons are goldmines and you don't want that out of your hand.   From now on be a coupon lady !!!

Coupons are Goldmine!

Last weekend was Mother's Day weekend. My husband and kids treated me like a queen and a shopping spree for two day. I am a person who always plans things out before the day arrive. Prior to that weekend, I already knew that we will go shopping, so I dig out my envelope full of coupons and find out what I could used. I found tons of them, because aside from the coupons I cut from the mail, we have this book coupons. We almost have every coupons that you can think of.

So, we went shopping for clothes, accessories, stuff for the house and so on. We went to Bed Bath and Beyond, because I had a coupon for 20% off the entire purchase. For clothes, like New York & Company they gave out $25 for purchase of $70 or more. One great deal is Victoria Secret, they gave out free pantie on top of that they gave you $10 off in your entire purchase. Isn't that sweet? In every purchased I made, I almost had corresponding coupons. That could be a 10 to 20% or $5, $10 off. At the end of the day, when you came home and look at all the receipts, calculate how much money you saved on those coupons and you will be surprised!

The next time you go out shopping or going to the grocery, check out your mail and see if you can find some coupons you can use. For instance, if you want to buy a wine for that party this weekend, check out Wine.com promo code for some great savings.

There is goldmine in coupons. Before you throw away those junks in the mails, check out those papers and see if there is coupons inside.

The Benefits of Coupons

Saving money is one of my goals since we moved into our new home. With mortgage and a second baby on the way, we need to make sure that every penny we have is being saved. Being frugal is not one of my traits but with an expanding family, I need to be one. Ever since I started this blog, I have been posting several tips on how to save money. How I got hooked on getting coupons every time I need to purchase something. I learned how to sort out mails and set aside any coupons I could find and put it in as small bag. These coupons are placed in the car so every time me and my husband need to buy something, we can check if we have available coupons or not. Honestly my husband became a coupons guy as well, because I always told him how much money I saved when we go shopping by using coupons.

Having Coupons can really save you a lot of money ! Overtime you can save hundred of dollars without even knowing it. Try looking for coupons online, if you cannot find one in the mail. There are a lot of websites that offers different kind of coupons, from grocery items to appliances and furniture, thegrocerygame.com is one of those. You can download free coupons, recipes, saving tips and much more.

Collect one now, one day you will be glad you did!

Grab every opportunity to save money

In this economic tough time, we always have to find ways to save money. Especially if there is only one income earner in the family.

Just want to share my experience with other mommies out there. Honestly, I am not used in using coupons nor have the patience to cut or keep one when I saw it. Until I met a friend who is a coupon mommy, she always have bundles of coupons in the car, so every time she went to a store, she looks on her coupon clippings to check if there is one. I used to laugh at her, but then she encourage me to used coupons because it saves a lot of money.

So, here I am gathering all the coupons that comes in the mail. At first I could not noticed the savings (especially in the grocery) since you mostly saves just a cents.

Aside from the coupons I get from the mails, I also received coupons from different stores (where I used to shop). The other day, I went to Osh Kosh store to buy some clothes for the new baby and Gabz. I remember that they usually sent me coupons every month, sale, or special promos they have. I printed one in my emails and bring it to the store. It was a 20% coupons for my entire purchase. Guess what ? I saved 44$ for that purchased !!! Gosh, I was so surprised that I could save that much !! Imagine savings 44$ ?

From then on, I promised to myself to save every coupon I could find. If you could not find any coupons, try to do the survey at the back of a store receipt (e.g. old navy, JC Penney, etc) and get 15% off on your next purchase. Don't forget to subscribe to the store where you frequently shops, so they could send you coupons and discounts.

So mommies who are not into coupons yet, I encourage you to do the same. You will be surprised how much money you can save. And to those coupons mommies, have fun saving !!!
