We were so amazed by this tree. We got this picture when we went hiking one weekend. They have cut down this huge tree and yet another life sprung from within the tree itself. Isn't that amazing? Life has it's own way, no matter how you stop it, if it is meant to be there, then it will be there. It grows not on the side but in the middle of the body of the tree. Wonders...wonders...

A Tree within a Tree

I love cool, old trees like this! My uncle lived in the Bellevue area for years, now he's retired and lives in Arizona. I did visit but never noticed that tree.
